Our annual Christmas luncheon will be held Monday, December 14. It will run from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm. This year we are offering a roast beef dinner complete with red potato mashed, corn, and gravy with a slice of pie (choice of apple, cherry, pecan or pumpkin). The meals can be picked up or delivered and they can be hot or cold (1 hour in your oven). We had hope to host this at the Goose but with social distancing, we are simply not big enough. We will start taking o...rders on Tuesday, December 1. Order forms will be available at the Goose or online by December 1. You can order for an individual, a family or a small business. Payment is a donation of your choosing. 100% of the proceeds will be split between the Salvation Army (75%) and the First Baptist Church(25% for their pantry). Every penny of the money raised stays in Wallaceburg/Dresden/Walpole Island and Port Lambton. This, we personally guarantee. For those who helped us out during the soup kitchen, we would honoured to accept etransfer donations of any amount to help out this great cause. This money is being used to help those less fortunate enjoy Christmas, so every penny helps. This is our 46th year of hosting a luncheon, and despite the covid times, it will still go on, albeit in a different format. This is a Wallaceburg tradition that has survived the test of time. Check out our nightly specials: chicken stuffed with roasted red peppers, goat cheese and spinach, topped with a light cream sauce or our smothered chopped sirloin.
