Sad news that John le Carre has died. Such a great author.

Well, today we have the distinction of being the first store in the world to sell copies of "THE FORGOTTEN LEGEND" by Shawn Henshall. It's the life story of John McLaren, who, among other accomplishments was a prolific artist. He did many paintings of our area while living in Bayfield and Benmiller. You may have noticed that the museum is having an exhibit of his work from October 8/20 to April 30/21.

Peter Sturdy's 2nd volume "MARLTONS OF GODERICH, MASTER SHIPBUILDERS" , is now available, limited quantity. We also have the only copy left of the 1st volume, if you want the complete set (there will be 3 volumes).

This just made me laugh out loud.
