Hey Friends, My friend Sahil Dhingra is the Waterloo Region Community Organizer for the David Suzuki Foundation. As many of you know, David Suzuki, is coming to KW on October 6. They are looking for volunteers for that event and for their future efforts to influence Canada to join more than 100 other countries in ensuring that its citizens have a right to a healthy environment. Our final VFH of the Spring will happen on June 14 and will be a fantastic night of music with bands Onion Honey, Safe As Houses, and Janice Lee and the Free Radicals. Good food (ice cream sundaes) and conversation will combine to make this an amazing evening. Friends, For the second time this year we are not hosting our VFH on the LAST Saturday of the month. Deb and I will be out of town in late April, so are excited about inviting you to our next View From Here, on Saturday, May 3. I'll announce our lineup very soon, but can tell you that it includes the poetry of Carolyn Gray, music by Frank Chen and others, and more good food. Stay tuned.
