In the 1970s, vegetarian Monks came to the grounds of Homer Watson House & Gallery and walked the grounds for days in silent prayer. When asked why they did this, they said because of the high spiritual vibrations the land held. They stated that the grounds were essentially a portal for wandering artistic spirits. Also, multiple psychics confirmed that there are 6 permanent spirits that reside in the house and gallery. Another haunting fact about the Homer Watson House & Gallery: Painter Homer Watson held regular seances at the gallery after his wife Roxa died. As previously posted, even former Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King attended.
