The Burrito Project by Yoga Unites 10.11.2020

Huge Thank You to the Ayurveda Association of Canada for choosing The Burrito Project by Yoga Unites to be their sponsoring charity. They raised us $700 and donated a bunch of nutritious food. Special thanks to Andrea Olivera for bringing us on board and welcoming me to speak @ The Ayurveda Conference for Food & Nutrition. Grateful for the opportunity to offer a breathing warm up for the Dr’s & Practitioners during their long day of teaching and learning , along with a spoken... word piece and info about the non-profit myself and Eva Blumenfeld have been running for the past year. Visions are in the works for a space to offer community vibes , live music/sound healing, basic yoga/movement/grounding , more burritos and other food, clothing & social service access to those in need , especially those homeless and suffering from mental disorder. Our goal is to have a consistent space they can access every 3 weeks in the Moss Park area. Right now we are distributing by vehicles and walking the streets. This is also a Seva project for Yogi's to do their karma work, if you are a Teacher Trainer and would would like your students to get involved, please send me a msg. Another hugely successful drive last night!!! Thank you so much to all the volunteers , this would not exist without you. Special Thanks to Soasis Jill Abrahamse-Sukuweh & Zach Sukuweh for their generous donation and consistent support for this project. Please Check out & Like The Burrito Project by Yoga Unites Facebook Page to learn how to get involved and send me a message if you would like to donate or volunteer your time for the next project.
