Making a donation to the Perpetual Fund creates an everlasting legacy. Please help in the preservation of the Cathedral of St. Peter in Chains

The Future of the Cathedral ... Its Legacy in My Hands and Yours I have been a member of the Cathedral parish for a total of 48 years. I was baptized, confirmed and made my first holy communion in the parish. At a very young age, I became an altar boy and served in that capacity until I went away to university at age 18. I returned to Peterborough 30 years ago shortly before retiring from a 35 year career in the automotive industry both in Canada and Internationally. ...My family ties to the Fund are quite strong because it was my brother, Mgsr. John Pearson, who started the Perpetual Fund in 1981 on the suggestion of my father, Tom Pearson. I take my duties to the Donors very seriously as I personally feel they have put their trust in me. This past year I oversaw the creation of a new website, brochure, donation envelope, automatic withdrawal donation method and a kiosk at the back of the Church. Going forward, we have set the objective to grow this endowment Fund, so in the not too distant future, the annual earnings will cover the costs of preserving our beautiful Cathedral.
