Earlier today the Government of Canada Seniors in Canada announced an exciting additional investment of $20 million in the New Horizons for Seniors Program (NHSP) during the COVID-19 pandemic across Canada. This funding will support organizations that offer community-based projects that reduce isolation, improve the quality of life of seniors, and help them maintain a social support network during the pandemic. Centre for Skills Development is elated to announce that we have ...received a grant for Better Together, funded by the Government of Canadas New Horizons for Seniors Program. The Better Together program will be run by our EIS team and will provide online group activities designed to prevent the social isolation of seniors in a time of recommended physical distancing.
