Here at the Centre for Social Justice and Good Works, we are excited to announce that our I Love to Move recreation program is among 668 organizations across Canada to receive the Canadian Tire Jumpstart Sport Relief Fund (announced in September). We are beyond grateful to receive this news and know the positive impact that this $8 million dollar fund will have on I Love to Move and other sport and recreation organizations across the country, in 2020 and beyond. With this Canadian Tire Jumpstart support (@CTJumpstart), we have been able to continue to run weekly I Love to Move sessions. This grant provides personal protective equipment, increased cleaning measures, new sports equipment (to ensure we have safe games for the kids to play), and healthy snacks for the program.
