The Chicago Project

We’re pleased to welcome the multi-talented vocalist and instrumentalist Craig Duke McRae to The Chicago Project. Craig was born into a musical family with his father being a professional musician and high school music teacher. Having been surrounded by music in his formative years Craig played many different instruments before settling on guitar and vocals. Craig’s talents have led him to appear on CBC, CityTV, and display his guitar and vocal abilities on stages and radio... programs across North America, Brazil, Africa, Europe, and his second home, Ireland. Craig has done studio session work on guitar and played in several wedding and corporate bands and was a regular house band member at The Hard Rock Cafe in Toronto for many years. Craig will be sharing vocal, bass guitar and guitar roles. As well, he’ll be augmenting our percussion and keyboard works. All we need now is for COVID-19 to be behind us so that we can once again play live so we all can enjoy the positive energy and vibe that great music and dance bring us. At long last, we had an opportunity to gig again ... outdoors, Sept 4th, at Signal Brewery's historic site in Corbyville. The setting was idyllic, the weather was perfect, the audience was terrific, the venue was special (gotta luv Signal Brewery food and beverages!) and, naturally, the music was great!!! :) Here's a pic of the backdrop and a video clip of us playing Chicago's "I'm A Man".
