ANNUAL YARD SALE...The Children's Garden, In conjunction with Pembroke Area Field Naturalists, is hosting its annual yard sale at The Children's Garden, back yard, 375 Doran Street, Pembroke on Saturday, June 8 from 7 am - noon! Please donate or shop or help if you can! Many children's programs and nature programs will benefit greatly!

The Children's Garden is dry, safe and open on Tuesday. However, the parking lot is still flooded and the adjacent streets are closed for local traffic only. We ask that all staff, families and visitors park at St. John's Lutheran Church and use our walkway to enter our centre! We gratefully extend a giant huge bouquet of thanks to all families, staff, neighbours, alumni families and friends near and far for all kinds of help with sandbagging, bringing food and drinks, lendin...g us water pumps, picking up gasoline for our water pumps, managing pumps around the clock, bringing dry clothes and boots, providing numerous hugs... every act of kindness was so appreciated. To the City of Pembroke fire department and especially the work crews... huge, huge, huge thanks for being there for us day & night... literally! We will continue to provide updates! The Children's Garden would like to hire 3 after school students to assist the Early Childhood Educators care for preschoolers and/or schoolers from approximately 3 to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday... asap! Please contact Benita at [email protected] or at 613-735-2259.

The Children's Garden & Pembroke Area Field Naturalist Club are co-hosting a yard sale on Saturday, June 11 from 7 - 11 at The Children's Garden. Any donations... bring them on Friday please.
