Scripture of the Day Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: -Philippians 1:6 The word Confident that Paul uses here to encourage the Philippian’ Saints, speaks to having a strong belief or full assurance, to be sure. ... And this certainty speaks to the fact that ...... God, who began the good work within you, will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. Loved ones let us not worry, either naturally or spiritually, we are told, Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 Have a Blessed Day! Bishop O.O. Anthony Johnson

Scripture of the Day For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: -Job 19:25 There are many things that could be said about this verse of scripture, but there is one thing that stands out to me today are the words that Job so passionately declares, ..I know that my redeemer liveth...... When things are going bad around us and it seems as if there is no way out, there is just one thing we should remember and understand, God is still alive! So when God is alive and with us, No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. -Isaiah 54:17 Have A Fearless Day! Bishop O.O. Anthony Johnson

Scripture of the Day And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho. And, behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich. And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature. And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way. Luke 19:1-4 Sometimes the things in life that are essential for us to achieve our goal and reach our destiny ...seems to be totally out of reach. It is significant for us to note that Zacchaeus was a man of great authority and he was rich, but all that could not get him to see the Lord, because he was little in stature. All this was mentioned that we may know that all that we may posses in life, and all the money we may have, that cannot buy our salvation! May we exhibit the same stance as Zacchaeus who recognized that he was short in stature, so if he must see Jesus Christ he must elevate himself, so he claimed up into a sycamore tree. Today, with all that you have you may be short of something, will you rise up that you may see Jesus Christ? Have an Introspective Day! Bishop O.O. Anthony Johnson

Scripture of the Day There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. -1 Corinthians 10:13 This profound verse of scripture gives every born again believer courage and assurance that we can make it on this journey. Paul declared that whatever temptation you are faced with don’t believe that... you are the only living believer going through it. Paul said to the Hebrew, Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, -Hebrews 12:1. In other words, seeing we have all these pioneers and veterans who have passed through such temptations as we are and have overcome, we have no excuse why we cannot make it. And very important for us to know, God will always provide a way for us to get through it. Now remember, the word is not saying that God is going to take away temptations from us, but He will always for the believer provide a way of escape. Have a Resilient Day! Bishop O.O. Anthony Johnson

Scripture of the Day But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. -1 Corinthians 9:27 One of the first candidates for every message I prepare as a pastor and a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ, is myself. If I cannot live by what I’m about to preach, or even if I struggle to be all that, it is my responsibility to measure the message against my own life.... The key to this verse of scripture is the fact that ...... I fear that after preaching truth to others I myself might be disqualified. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: -1 Corinthians 9:26 Have a Blessed Week! Bishop O.O. Anthony Johnson

Scripture of the Day And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in. - Genesis 7:7, 13, 16 ... The unique thing about the execution of the final judgement of God is that it’s executed by God himself. In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark; And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the Lord shut him in. Though Noah was the builder of the ark, he didn’t choose who would go into the ark, and God kept the keys to the ark - and the Lord shut him in. The key to our salvation is not knowing the preacher or being known by the preacher, but it’s to know God and be known by God! Have a Blessed Day! Bishop O.O. Anthony Johnson

Scripture of the Day Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. -Matthew 5:6 The dictionary defines hunger as a painful sensation or state of weakness caused by the need of food. And being thirty is a sensation of dryness in the mouth and throat caused by need of liquid. And of course these both carry a negative connotation.... But there is a hunger and a thirst that is commended by Jesus Christ Himself. In His most impactful sermon, the sermon on the mount Jesus Christ commended a blessing for being hungry and thirsty for justice, because we will be satisfied. Therefore true satisfaction can only be achieved through a true desire for God. How hungry and thirsty are you for the righteousness God? Have a Blessed Sunday! Bishop O.O. Anthony Johnson

Scripture of the Day But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Matthew 24:36-39 ... The signs of the time makes it evident that the coming of the Lord is at hand. Many will take this season as just another epic event in the human experience. But His coming for us as an individual could manifest itself either by means of death or the rapture! Either way, I implore you to be ready and waiting, you can’t afford to miss this once in a lifetime experience! The Day of the Lord is at Hand! Bishop O.O. Anthony Johnson

Scripture of the Day Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him. And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became very great: Genesis 26:12-13 In times and seasons like these I want to speak into your spirit, that the times and the seasons will not determine your the outcome of your life.... God is about to bless you with an hundred fold increase in your endeavours! Though horrific and uncertain the times may be, They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever. -Psalms 125:1 You’re about to move from being great to being very great! Scripture of the Day Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. - Hebrews 12:11 Chastisement is radically rejected by the modernist, because of its seemingly ill effect. The moment of chastisement is never joyous, but is designed for the whole training and education of children which relates to the cultivation of their mind and morals, i...nstruction which aims at increasing virtue. If we reject chastisement we are rejecting an essential tool that is designed towards our wholesome development. If God doesn’t discipline you as he does all of his children, it means that you are illegitimate and are not really his children at all. From a good parent, chastisement is not designed to destroy a child, but to make you whole. If your parents have stopped instilling discipline to you, it could be that they have given you over to your own rebellious mind, For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. Hebrews 12:6 If Your Parents Loves You, They Will Chastise You! Bishop O.O. Anthony Johnson

Scripture of the Day Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelloushow well I know it. You watched me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb. You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. - Psalm 139:14-16 The Psalmist intentionally wrote of the mystery of his conception and his creation When he thought... of how wonderfully complex we are! We are not a duplicate, we are uniquely individualized. Therefore I speak to every person that is downcast, down trodden, feeling rejected and confused. You cannot find yourself outside of you. All that you need to be you is already in you! Therefore .Be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. Ephesians 4:23-24 It’s time to free yourself from the lies and deception of the devil! Have A Splendiferous Weekend! Bishop O.O. Anthony Johnson

Scripture of the Day Give us this day our daily bread. -Matthew 6:11 The Lord not only seek to supply our spiritual needs, He is also a God who is concerned with our natural needs. ... And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick. And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals. But Jesus said unto them, They need not depart; give ye them to eat. Matthew 14:14-16 Whatever your needs are today, seek the Lord Jesus Christ, He is willing and ready to supply all your needs according to His riches in glory. Have a Fulfilled Day! Bishop O.O. Scripture of the Day Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness. 1 Peter 2:2-3 NLT The Psalmist made a solemn announcement, O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. -Psalms 34:8... When we have tasted of the real spiritual milk of the Lord, there is nothing else in this world that can satisfy that desire, because there is nothing else to compare. Like is used here as a preposition, that like new born babies we must crave pure spiritual milk so that we will grow into a full experience of salvation. Ninety nine and a half won’t do, let’s go all the way in Christ Jesus. Have a Blessed Day! Bishop O.O. Anthony Johnson

Scripture of the Day How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Keep your servant from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Psalm 19:12-14 NLT From the moment man fell into sin, The Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil ...Genesis 3:22a. Inherent in the nature of man is the capacity to sin on any level, being given the opportunity. Some things we have not done because the situation never occur for us to indulge. Knowing this, David confess and prayed, How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Therefore cleanse me from these hidden faults. Keep your servant from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin. Therefore his prayer was, and should be for us today, May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer. Lord, Please Lead Us Today!
