ORIGINAL DIAMONDS Every painting has its own style, technique and language relative to what I want to say about the image. I’m very pleased with Diamonds at Dusk because it successfully captured the vision I had in mind. Please consider sharing this post.

SPRUCE MEADOWS MASTERS September 4th-8th Here's a sample of a few original paintings I'll have on display at the Spruce Meadows Masters. ... 27 years ago while camping at Spruce Meadows with my Dad and best friend, my Dad let us venture the grounds after hours. It's very different walking around Spruce Meadows when there's not a soul in sight... We were young, thirteen years old, running around like wild horses and riding on the statues when a security guard came by. We looked at each other and thought we were both in a lot of trouble... On the contrary, he came up to us and started asking us who our favourite show jumper was? Of course we both replied Ian Miller and Big Ben! He then asked us if we'd like to go meet Big Ben? That was an evening I will never forget. Standing in front of his stall, he left us there to hang out with the champion of show jumping. I still remember his presence and grandeur... Eating his food and not even giving us a second glance. He was king. Karen Coe Fine Arts
