On a day like today one word comes to mind hygge (pronounced hue-guh)... a quality of mindfulness, coziness and a feeling of contentment or well-being (regarded as a defining characteristic of Danish culture). To me nothing is more hygge then soup, candles, cozy clothes maybe a fire... and most importantly my family enjoying each other’s company maybe playing a board game. Today we have no obligations, no responsibilities we just get to look outside and watch the rain from ...our cozy couch. I was going through recipe books and found this little gem given to me by my grandmother Ann Holm.
