Such a fun project I was asked to do! This client wanted to create a 50ft x 6ft garden bed adding a natural pollination area to attract bees and butterflies. This was a multi step project. I began using the walk behind skidsteer to level out the area, then used a rototiller, followed by a 1.5 layer of filter cloth for the area, 5 yards of topsoil, over 65+ plants and finished it off with 1/4 ton of 2 river rock to create an edge. ... Thank you for trusting me to do this awesome project!

At this client’s place you can see the one bed needed a clean up, followed my some fresh mulch. As for the second bed, the grass had taken over leaving it difficult to decipher where the garden edge was. We edged it, cleaned it up and added some mulch! Another happy client! Thank you for your business

For those of you who don’t yet know, these are the faces of #TheDirtDiva! Ali Eatly and I have worked our butts off this summer to tend to numerous gardens across the Northern GTA and hope to continue doing what we love! However, it was time for a much needed girls weekend getaway! This past weekend I decided to treat my #1 employee and I to a little getaway in the beautiful Prince Edward County! We spent our time touring the mountain, wineries, breweries and of course couldn’t help but find our way to a family owned greenhouse! (Oh, and we did a bit of work too). Just wanted to say hello from #TheDirtDiva team!

Enjoyed working with this client and her 5 level backyard oasis! As we worked through the front gardens beds, we planted 3 hibiscuses and topped it off with some sharp black mulch! In the backyard, just a clean up was requested. ... This client was so happy she has asked us to come back to do more!

Thankful that the heat wave has passed us, we were able to get back at it! Worked with this client to transform her garden bed! What do you think?

We had some fun with this project last week. Using a hedge trimmer to tackle the dozens of boxwoods certainly saved a lot of time! The front garden bed had to have a whole new edge shape to include the boxwood greens. ... By far one of our favourite projects! What a pristine property! Can you spot someone hard at work?! What do you think?

Hey everyone! Happy Canada day! Wanted to let you all know.... Heat Exhaustion and Heat Stroke need to be taken very seriously! I often am told I overwork myself and now have developed heat stroke. I will be taking some time off until I am fully recovered, with hopes to get back at it late this weekend/early next week. ... I look forward to getting back to work with you all!

Hey everyone, hope you are all remembering to water your plants with this heat! These photos were taken during & after at a clients place. The during photo was after I had cut the 4ft tall weeds, edged it and ripped up the sod. The after photo explains itself

BIGGEST TRANSITION YET! Yesterday we worked hard in the heat to clean out an old Farmer’s gardens. This client had numerous overgrown Sumac trees and weeds in his gardens, but hiding underneath were some lovely hostas and lilies! All he wanted was a clean up and to add some black mulch to give it a nice fresh look!
