Since there isn't enough manpower the store hours have changed. Be aware that sometimes the store will be open later if there are continuous customers at 6:00pm. During these times we will not be sharing our washroom with visitors, as there isn't the manpower to sanitize that facility . This does not promote urinating in parking lots.

The beautification process of the Tourist corridor is really failing. I have up to date had plants to the value of $120 stolen out of the soil at the front of the house.

Great news from Suncor! Theyve announced a $1.4 billion investment that will create 600 jobs to build a gas co-gen facility that will supply inexpensive, relia...ble base load power to Alberta consumers, while improving air quality, reducing CO2 emissions, and reducing water usage. This will increase the electricity available on the Alberta power grid by ~12%, and will create much needed new demand for Alberta natural gas producers. By switching from burning petroleum coke to natural gas, Suncor will reduce CO2 emissions by 2.5 megatonnes, the equivalent of taking 550,000 cars off the road. All of this shows how we can be an environmentally responsible energy producer, developing our oil sands while continuing to reduce carbon intensity. Suncor CEO Mark Little says that our governments recent decision to stop the NDPs move to a capacity market gave us the confidence to push ahead with this investment. Thank you to Mark and the team at Suncor for this important expression of confidence in the Alberta economy, and for being leaders in responsible resource development!

Many events at play in Drumheller. The new Ghost Busters movie being filmed in part here in the valley. That wasnt the main event. the Rover Challenge returned to the Valley "University teams from across the world put their best robotic foot forward for this competition. The teams rovers were tested in equipment servicing, surface roverchalleng I dsampling, transport and traversal, and search and rescue." I didnt see the event but heard from some participants who came to the store. Fine young men from # U of Guelph in Ontario. Thank you for visiting and looking forward to seeing you win next year
