The salon will reopen in a week!! Here are some new guidelines about how things will have to operate. Please feel free to text or call me if you have any questions at 427-1394 1. Come alone to your appt. 2. If you are not feeling well, have any symptoms please reschedule (as Im not permitted to accept anyone in the salon with symptoms) 3. Please wait in your car until I text/wave you in. (This will allow me time to sanitize )... 4, it is recommended that every client (along with myself) wear a mask 5. There will be no waiting room, or tea/coffee station 6. Hand sanitizer will be provided for use upon arrival I think thats the most important pts. Not sure how this will all work, please be patient, as this is all new to me too. All the guidelines can be found on the government website.

I now have everyone booked in that was on my list starting June 8th. There will be new regulations to follow when I reopen. Ill post the guidelines as soon as I receive them. June 8th looks to be the date to reopen. I will rebook appts to how I had to cancel them. If you had an appt in the first week of closure youll be contacted first. I plan to work every evening and day until my list is conquered! I expect my new normal will cause some delays, and everyone will need a little more tlc then normal. Please be patient, if youre not booked back the first week or 2 doesnt mean I dont value you as much as the first person in my chair. Figure its the fairest way to reopen. Heres a couple tips for trimming your own bangs at home...so you dont look like this.. 1. Take a very thin section, or section off your previous bang. 2. Use a small blade, like a manicure Scissor, not a kitchen or craft scissor. 3. Cut dry hair ... 4. Most important, use the bridge of your nose as a guide (not your eyebrows). Allow hair to rest loosely between your fingers, Snip off very little amounts, a dusting. You can always trim more if needed...but if u trim too much...well, reference pic below! For 24 years I have stood behind my chair. I have been through weddings, funerals, births and deaths with my clients. They are my family, my friends. Being told today that I cannot do that tomorrow is heartbreaking for me. Its deflated me more then I ever expected it would. Im in shock even though I should have known it was coming. Please stay home, stay safe. The Hair Specialist is now closed until further notice. . Words I cannot believe I have to type.
