The Inn of the Good Shepherd has been assisting individuals and families in our community with rent/utility assistance, Income Tax Clinics, food bank needs and many more programs since their inception in 1981 Our team believes our community is our priority.... With a donation of $40 to The Inn of the Good Shepherd for each household Financial Plan completed, we hope to deliver a total of 10 plans to meet the goal of $400 a month. Our Financial Plan is comprehensive and specific to your needs. With a focus on your retirement goals, we will work with you to create an effective strategy. This plan will outline your retirement income, the time it will last and what you will leave to your family’s future. Thanksgiving food drives are starting this weekend! Thank you to our food drive champions at UNIFOR Local 848 and Shana fellows, Theresa Powers and Meghan Dibrita at EXIT Realty for hosting these food drives.
We've made our food bank bigger so you can come select your own items. our food bank is open Mon-Fri 9:30-11:15. Please bring verification of income, ID for all members of your household and your own bags (if possible).

Our foodbank will be returning to our old select your own items shopping model starting Monday Sept 21, 2020. Our hours will remain the same Mon - Fri 9:30-11:15 am, all you need to bring is your income statement and Id for all members of your household and if possible your own bags.
We're running our backpack program again today Sept 16, 2020 from 3-5 pm. backpacks stuffed with everything your k-12 child needs are available at 115 John Street (Devine St doors). All you need to bring is ID for each child you need a backpack for and your income verification.
Many thanks to the McDonald's team and Colleen & Peter Buckley for their support of Loonies for Lunches! Over $9500 was raised to support our back to school programs - snacks and lunch items for children. Almost quarter of that was raised by employee contributions - what an amazing team! ...
