Ability to multi task, strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to work within specific deadlines and highly organized Ability to work independently, and in a team-oriented environment Strong communication and intrapersonal skills Strong work ethic with can-do attitude Bookkeeping Responsibilities: Setting up and maintaining financial records using Quickbooks computerized bookkeeping system Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, and maintain general ledgers Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers’ compensation forms, and other government documents Prepare cheque payments for above remittances Post credit card transactions, complete monthly reconciliation and prepare payments Maintains bank account records; reconciles bank accounts Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices Issue monthly A/P cheque payments Complete monthly A/P reconciliation Accounts Receivable: Post customer payments Prepare bank deposits Complete monthly A/R reconciliation Additional Responsibilities: Social media updating Maintain petty cash Annual Duties : Prepare accounting records to fiscal year end Work with the outside accounting firm providing information when required.
