Here we are, weeks into our pandemic. It certainly has been a education in human behaviour, including my own. I have had many ups and downs. I am sure everyone has had their fair share of turmoil, as well as comfort in knowing that we are trying our best. One thing I have done throughout my time in isolation has been to read some books and yesterday I realized that I have never read my own book, cover to cover. Of course I read the contents while I wrote and made chang...es to it. Since it was published, however, I have never picked up the finished product and just read it. I have just now completed the read and I must say it was not all that easy to digest my story. Many emotions were stirred up. Now that I have read it, I realize, I have done a pretty good job of telling my story. I also know that I am a better person for writing it. For those who have supported my book from the start, I thank you. For those who have not read the book, I hope you will give it a try. I have always hoped that The Lies That Bind will resonate with those who have had similar experiences, knowing that there is light at the end of the tunnel if you look for it. Let's all try our best to be kind and caring everyday and help each other through this strange time we are in. I am loving the sun and the warm temps. I have started putting things in my garden, to liven it up and I cannot wait to see what is starting to grow from last year. We must all move forward and I hope we are all happy and healthy as we do. In this time of uncertainty, lets be kind and aware of others. Love one another but stay home unless you are an essential service. Front-line workers are putting themselves in the thick of it everyday. They do it so you can be safe. We must do our part by staying home and only going out for food and meds. There is really no other reason to leave your home. Please make being at home your job. We all need to be responsible. Read a book, watch TV, reconnect through your on line device.
