Exciting to know this will help with the build that is currently taking place for our precious family to have a safe dry home in a few days right before Christmas Thx you fr the bottom of our hearts! As many of you know Lon and I along with a team we signed up with took a trip to the Dominican under the direction of Live Different and built 2 homes in Feb. 2019. The plan was to return this previous Spring and do another build. Of course due to covid that didn’t happen. We have still helped financially especially during a hurricane that they had. If you’ve met or chatted with us since our experience no doubt we may have shared with you what an experience it was for us to a...ctually go there, see the poverty and help build homes. Many of you individually and groups etc helped back when we fund raised for the builds. If you were at church the morning we shared with you our experience and did the slide show then you have a little bit of insight also of the poverty that we got to see. Many of you had planned to go with us when we did another build. During our build we had a day in the life experience with a family that they chose for you to be placed with. So we were placed with a expecting mom and her husband. My heart literally broke as I could not see how they were going to have a baby and they needed so much to even be comfortable. So since covid like I said prevented us fr going our team leader being working with Live Different so we could possibly do a virtual build. We would raise the funds for a home and they would hire the locals and volunteers to do the work. When I got up this morning our leader had posted to our Army of One team some info regarding our virtual build. My heart was touched to see we are endeavouring to have the family that Lon and I were placed with in 2019 to be the ones to get a home. They are to be the family that we are virtually building for in hopes to have them in their home for Christmas. So I felt my heart strings tug and wanted to do more. Our team has all given what we each had to give. So ours has been recyclables. Whatever we have fr recycling we use to help Live Different in those areas. So I’d like to thank those that have given us your empties or have dropped them off to be put under our Live Different account. So this is where I’m going with this post. I’m going to have a basket valued at 100.00 of my products fr my little Bath Boutique up on blocks at 5.00 a block for a short time. All proceeds will go to Live Different to help with this virtual build and wherever they see the need to use it. If you live away and your name is drawn then we will mail your goodies. So just comment below how many blocks you would like and funds for the blocks can be emailed to me. Another night at the lighthouse with breakfast. Mr was happy bringing home the mail today. Gifts n treasures fr summer guests. We meet so many wonderful people!! Thx you!!

We decided to stay at the lighthouse last night. It was lovely but I wanted to pretend we were away lol. So I said I wanted to get up and have breakfast here as well. When I woke up I could smell the bacon lol. So nice and relaxing!! Maybe I could stay here all day lol the coffee even taste better this morning! Thx Lon
