"...dance naked under palm trees..." are actually the lyrics to a song. We think it's the perfect tune to get us through this gloomy Monday morning in Toronto.

And they danced in the shadows, they danced in the sunlight, they danced in under the glow of the moon and in their living room. All that mattered was that they danced.

Love changes everything.

Happy 1st Anniversary to these two lovers. Last year at this time we were tearing up alongside @theeventeur as Elnaz + Tamim said their vows overlooking this magnificent view.

This place is starting to feel like home.

Running out own studio comes at the sacrifice of many things: missed birthdays, family gatherings, economic certainty, and most of all the ability to turn off at 5pm. But when a wedding is as perfect as yesterday's, when a couple is as genuine and soulful as Rachel and Colin, and when you get to work with your family at @theeventeur it makes it all worth it. The Sarajevo Library was built in 1892. Exactly 100 years later, in 1992, during the Siege of Sarajevo shelling caused the complete destruction of the library. 700 manuscripts were lost in the process. But more importantly, so was the life of a librarian who tried to rescue the books from the flames. Today, the library has been completely rebuilt and stands as a testament to a people's desire to keep living... keep learning...and keep loving. Nadja + Almir chose to have their civil ceremony in this beautiful space, filled with history and knowledge.

The most striking thing about Havana is the blurred line between private and public space. Living rooms open directly to the street, with the doors and window most often open. As you walk you can peek in and get a glimpse of how each family lives...all the generations gathered around, watching tv, gossiping about the neighbours, seeking advice on the latest love story. Privacy seemed such a distance concept.
