With heavy hearts we say goodbye to a amazing, kind and dear friend! We are thankful for all drinks and laughs over the years and you will be missed everyday! RIDE IN PEACE (tough guy) Ronnie. Please read the route change near the bottom..... Celebration of Life for Ron/Ronnie Pin/Pinner Chornopyski...this coming Saturday, September 5th, 2020. ... Anyone who wants to meet at The Office, (The Marion Hotel) can do so between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm...leaving at 12:30 pm and heading for the boat museum in Selkirk for 1:00 pm. Main meeting spot is to be The Boat Museum in Selkirk, preferably bikes only in the parking lot & all vehicles preferably on the street. After all have met in Selkirk...around 1:30 pm...we will all leave and head to Bird's Hill Park...(route to be determined and announced at Museum parking lot). We will attempt to go to Group Use Area #1, Site 7A off of North Drive...If this site is unavailable, we will go to Group Use Area #2, Site 1, off of Festival Dr. just inside the east gate...(site is dependent on use by other park users at the time). Once at park, Ron's Son Bill Raill will say a few things, followed by an ash ceremony and a few words by anyone who wishes to speak of the good times with Ronnie. Everyone is invited after Bird's Hill Park, to Roger Desaultels Ranch just up Highway 59 north of Selkirk...directions can be obtained at any of the stops. If anyone wants to cook their own food, Roger is supplying his gas BBQ for you to use. There will be a bonfire at Rogers as well as many stories of Ronnie/Pinner! Everyone is invited to join us in celebrating Ron's Life. This is NOT a TNR only event, it is open to anyone and everyone that knew Ron or wishes that they did. Please share this post. Memory Patches for Ron are being made and unfortunately will not be ready in time for Saturday, but someone will be taking names and numbers for orders. Thank you and see you there. Ride in Peace Pinner #TNR #Fuckcancer @ The Marion Hotel ***ROUTE CHANGE FOR RONNIE/PINS CELEBRATION OF LIFE*** After careful ironing of the details, and the need to simplify the route and the chance that the Bird's Hill areas chosen might be occupied...and due to Covid and public gatherings as well... **THE BIRD'S HILL PARK STOP HAS BEEN ELIMINATED FROM THE RUN** We will be leaving the Selkirk Boat Museum and going directly to Roger & Sandy's Ranch north of Selkirk, and south of Libau...map below for those who wish to go directly to the final stop. Thank you for your patience at our attempt to iron out fine details and simplify the day and event for everyone. Sorry for any inconvenience. Ron's son Bill Raill will be there to meet with all of his dads friends, to hear the stories, to tell a few of his own, and to spread a small amount or Ron's ashes as Ronnie would have liked.
