The Neighborhood Association of Uplands Park 15.12.2020

Urgent! Call to action to secure the future of the Blue Mountain/Birch Cove Lakes Regional Wilderness Park. On Tuesday, July 21st HRM Council will vote on whether to financially support a cost-shared land purchase proposed by the Nova Scotia Nature Trust. BUT, a staff report coming out prior to the meeting recommends that Council NOT dedicate funds to the cost-shared purchase. Indicate your support by going to the link below to send a letter to Council BEFORE Tuesday's meeting. https://ecologyaction.ca/civicrm/mailing/view

The Memorial Garden contribution stone has been installed. Thanks for the residents of Uplands Park who continue to add value to our common spaces while also honouring those who served and those who continue to serve.
