My original vision for The NUK, was meant to be a reminder of the North West coast of British Col...ombia. Also some what of a reflection of myself.. stylish, artwork, and fashionable trendy..... accompanied by the local beauty and spirit of the north. The passions for hair habits and mens health... the never ending love & flare for the salmon that swims wildly yearly through these rivers, this place i call home.... through the mighty Skeena... the brisk mountains that are always stretching tall hugging endlessly around this town, with the vastness of all the cameo picturesque painted scenery... Its interesting because i spend many hours behind the chair, laughing, joking, smiling, and sharing hugs and hand shacks... with who are not only my clients... but of a friend... working with my tools.... my blades and scissors act as an extension of me... shaping and sculpting not only the hair but ascending a hand in crafting confidence... Sharing the mirror.... in all these hours I have spent in front of the mirror... i now spend time reflecting on how much I love what i do... my space and time behind the chair.. all of this has come to an uncertain place of comfort... i miss my fello people... i miss our time in the mirror the banter ... scissors... my sister gave me a neckless pendent of scissors on a Christmas... the meaning of this pendent, of scissors... is "we separate, to meet again" and this is how id like to bid these hand shacks and hugs with the blades & scissors... i look forward to the day we to shall meet again..... all my love from The The Nuk Barber Shop See more
