Last 2 orders of 2020, and that’s a wrap. It’s been a different year, but we’re still standing and we’re even still smiling...and that’s sayin’ something. Here’s to hoping we can be together again in 2021....... Until then, love each other the best yet. We all need it. All my love, my gratitude, and my biggest ever wishes of peace for you and yours... Until next year!!

It happens every year about this time. Amidst the many requests for signs filled with joy, and peace, and happy things...there is this. There is loss. And it reminds, over and over again, that we must walk ever so softly among one another.

I was so honoured to be able to work on this piece today for a special little miracle baby. My beautiful cousin @amysweetland and her husband Josh welcomed baby Haddon into their family this past June. Haddon was born with a rare heart condition called Transposition of the Greater Arteries. This required open heart surgery for the little guy shortly after his birth. This tiny warrior has been through so many ups and downs in his few months of life, but has come out shinin...g and smiling. Commissions for your little ones gives me an amazing few hours to focus solely on them, and on their little budding lives and stories. While I’m painting these pieces, I’m usually also praying for the little hands that will receive them. And today, for Haddon, there were prayers for a healthy heart, for long life, for continued strength, and an abundance of happiness for him and his family. Thanks for this honour, Amy! Love you guys.
