We are excited to announce that we will be hosting the first ever Craniofacial Therapy Academy (CRAFTA) Foundations course in Ontario! CRAFTA is an education program that uses an interdisciplinary and patient-centred approach to address the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular, craniomandibular, and craniofacial problems, including headaches and facial pain. A few of the clinical patterns covered in the course (among others) include TMJ, whiplash and vestibular dys...function. CRAFTA Foundations includes the CRAFTA-1, CRAFTA-2 and Online Module courses, running from April-June 2020. Mark your Calendars!! Annual General Meeting 2017 with Pre AGM Lecture Moving physiotherapy beyond muscles and joints: 'Learn from the past, practice in the present, and prepare for the future'... Saturday June 3rd 9am - 1245 pm Hart House (Debates Room) 7 Hart House Circle University of Toronto, Toronto Presentation Outline: Dave Walton PT PhD and Jasdeep Dhir PT MClSc will discuss trends in physiotherapy practice in Canada over the past 20 years with a focus on the paradigmatic shifts in clinical reasoning that have permeated past and current approaches to managing the person in pain. They will present recent evidence exploring the real skills that influence patient outcomes, including the patient and therapist interaction and how this impacts patient care and outcomes.
