Yes, we are hopeful! It is supposed to rain tomorrow, and we are adjusting our plan to start the market earlier ( 9am start) to make it easier for shoppers to get in some holiday shopping before the rain falls! . . . What we are keeping a closer eye on is the winds! According to the Beaufort Scale moderate to fresh winds are expected tomorrow starting around 9am. ... As always, the safety of our vendors and our visitors is our number one priority so we will make the decision, if necessary to close early, IF the winds get to be too strong! . . . We are hopeful that the day will come in and the breeze will be light and the rain will hold off. But as they say, fate favours the prepared. We will do all we can to stay open all day! Mother Nature calls the shots! So come earlier if you can ( remembering that we have three entrances will help with flow) . . . One last reminder, we will be limiting numbers, so we strongly encourage you to know the vendors you want to see, stay focused in your shopping ( I’m laughing as I write this because, if I was reading that I’d like ... surrrrreee focused shopping lol) do the best you can! . . . Hi! We have some Important Information to update you on for the market this weekend! Please read! . . . Number limits! We will be controlling numbers more attentively this market. We have a third entrance that will hopefully help with flow. ( Arena/ Delson/ Fairgreen) stagger your visit or arrive early. ... Line ups must maintain physical distances Physical distancing is of utmost importance. wear a mask ( unless you have a medical reason and you are unable to) Parking: we are advised that parking at the arena is not supported unless you have a visible disability pass. Parking: side streets will not be as available for parking ( can’t get through). You may park on one side of the street. You are encouraged to park on Colonial, Trim and we will also have some parking spaces available at the entrance off Delson. we encourage Navanites who can, to walk to the market! . . . Financial donations will be accepted at the ‘We Community’ Kiosk located at the Arena Entrance! We will also accept non perishable food donations for the Orleans Cumberland Food Bank! . . . The OCCRC has an annual Christmas Program that supports families in this geographic area during this particularly challenging time of year. This year, the they continue to see a 30-40% increase in support requested, as a result of Covid. . . .
