The Photo & Hair Shoppe are very much alive and thriving in the new location at 4903 B - 49th Avenue. Phone number is still the same 780-609-0356. Services I provide are ... hair salon, custom picture framing, photo printing, Commissioner for Oaths and Marriage Commissioner.

I have 2 frames that were ordered and never paid for. Each are 14 x 39 with 4 8x10 openings with non reflective glass. If you are interested please message me and we can work something out.

I know that feeling :)

Im now settled into the new location. Now for the world to get back to some since of "normal"

Its official. All non essential services are shut down. I am closed until its deemed safe to reopen. The wine is poured and the WTF thoughts are coming. Stay home is the only way we can get through this ..... sooner than later.

When life is back to a new normal I will be in a new location with a new look but same services

I started The Photo Shoppe up in 2016 and have been adding different services since then. In 2017 I added The Hair Shoppe. My thoughts on having different services under one roof would give me a cushion if one didnt work out. With the events happening today I decided, for health and safety reasons, to temporarily suspend all hair services. Which will resume when its safe to. I am still able to provide custom picture framing, custom photo printing and photos for Passport ...and PAL which Im hoping will keep me somewhat afloat. My bills still need to be paid so totally closing my doors isnt an option at this point. Im able to abide by the "social distancing" process, keep the area clean and minimize the amount of people in the store at once. Im also a Commissioner for Oaths and a Marriage Commissioner. What we are going through isnt the end. There is light at the end of the tunnel (and its not a train) and we will get back to a "New Normal". Im just a small town gal trying to keep my head above water and continue to look on to the future. Giving up isnt an option!!!!

This says it all ..

If you are still going to get your hair done, please rethink it. The hairstylist, my self included, could feel the obligation to help you out. By doing that p...uts her at risk and the next person that sits in her chair at risk, so on and so on. Even though this industry does everything possible to keep our clients safe, this is the one thing we cannot keep you safe from. As Heath Canada says, the only way to slow the progress of this virus down is to keep a distance of 2 meters between ourselves. I havent found a way on how to cut your chair standing 2 metes away. When I do, Ill let you know :) Being safe and staying healthy is the most important thing we can do for ourselves. See more

A little excitement this past weekend. An unfortunate accident happened where a plow truck kissed the ditch. Fortunately the driver is ok as well as the truck :) Good job on Steves Towing to clean up the scene.
