What happens in a post-op appointment? One day after surgery you’ll be scheduled for a post-op appointment with our post-op Nurse Lori, then one week after surgery, two weeks following, and sometimes one month after as well. During these post-op appointments with @asknurselori, she will check your incisions and make sure everything is healing well and will make sure that you are feeling good. She will also go through instructions like how to wash incisions, what garments ...to wear and for how long, breast massage techniques, liposuction massage, or any other post-surgery protocols that will help your healing. During these sessions, you are always welcome to ask to see one of our doctors, but normally you will see your doctor about one-month post-op to make sure that everything is looking and healing the way it should be. When your @themdbeautyclinic injector recommends a whole syringe of filler, know that this is not actually a lot of product. Let's get specific - One syringe of filler is only 1/5th of a teaspoon! Many of the dramatic lip transformations you see online take multiple syringes injected over many months to get that result. You may have heard of half syringes of filler. This is not something we do at our clinic and we wouldn’t recommend you pursue this option anywhere. We DO... now offer a mini plump which is 0.6 mL. The syringe comes packaged this way and is not decanted. Filler companies do not sell half syringes, they sell full syringes. If a clinic is selling a half syringe this means they are decanting the syringe to split it in two or somehow saving the original syringe for later.
