Skills for Grief, right now - 2 sessions starting in May We mostly stretch together, learn about how emotions are processed, stored and released according to Traditional East Asian Medicine and have a bit of time to share our experience if wanted. Today, and many days, I am moved to tears by our incredible capacity for resiliency and by the tenderness we contain within our fierce and delicate hearts. You, brilliant beings are the light our lives are fighting for. The walls we may have built to protect us are to be respected and cared for. Our hearts, each one, a vast eternity of sorrows and joys. My respect to your brilliant light, your love for justice and your care for Life.
I am offering Shiatsu again! So grateful to return to this practice after a sweet break while I transitioned clinics and Life! 60 min session - $108
Clients sometimes say "Acupuncture is like Therapy!" and while it is not therapy at all, it is a system of medicine that is 1000's of years old that includes the interconnectedness of whole human beings with the world around us. There is so much information about how our bodies work, and what to do with what the body/mind/spirit is doing that goes unsaid in the dominant Western Medical model. We humans have feelings, so in an Acupuncture session one may talk about how our e...motional experiences impact our Qi and how our stuck or free flowing Qi can conversely impact our emotional world. Each Acupuncturist brings their unique presence to their practice and I like to talk about the connections our organs have to emotions and how we can use Food and movement and Acupuncture and Herbs in emotional healing. This is one way, in a sea of many ways, to reconnect with our inherent knowing of our feelings and understand the world within us and around us. You can simply be stressed out and Acupuncture can help. You can be doing trauma healing work and Acupuncture can support or amplify that healing. You can need a break from dealing with PTSD and come for a session. There are so many ways to heal, deal and feel well... May we all have the conditions to emerge from unjust struggle, heal harm and together, build a healthy world. wanna know more? ask me or your favourite Acupuncturist <3 #communityhealing #enoughforeveryone #wecanheal Artist: Avogado6 (https://www.instagram.com/avogado6_art/?hl=en)
Art is healing. Period. To create or bear witness or enjoy or appreciate... Art is healing happening.... my first sharing of writing begins today! from "The Grief Chronicles...." Complicated grief... my mothers life and terminal death I loved her before I knew I should be wary of love That to love means to lose means to ache into the universe of my bones at the final truth of death and dying. From that consciousness not yet impacted by loss and she died before her "time" she would say with plenty to be grateful for and I would agree and I would say she still had so much to give and she does if I dare again to love her still See more

Random tips for simple ways to take care to meet ever increasing needs for collective resiliency. These tips will repeat, be things you know and things you don't know. I have done 1000's of treatments now and there are common threads that can potentially serve us all. There are many ways we can take care that don't cost money. Knowledge is power, Traditional East Asian Medicines are vast and have been effective for 1000's of years. I want to benefit you in any way that ...resonates for you all Very Alive People raising our collective health. Today's TIP: Chewing is on of the most frequent suggestions for anyone with any digestive upset. This costs nothing more than the time it takes to chew. and if you are a fast chewer and need to keep moving quickly, just chew fast while you chew more. Really makes a difference for gut health, absorption of nutrients and bowel health. #notimelikethepresenttogethealth #endoftheworldasweknowit #whatwedoknowwillrepairus

Been seeing a lot of folks coming through with the never ending cough. If you have this cough and have access to a Dr, please go see one to determine if it is pneumonia. A few folks I know are getting that diagnosis... and knowledge is power! #wholistichealth #empowerhealth #wholisticmedicinetothefront #makespacefortraditionalhealing
