This statement brings back memories from my past. It’s sad that as women we will stay in the same toxic environment and try to FIX the issues. I was one of thos...e women for 9 years. My reactions were part of the problem. I was 22 years old and married to a man who had drug issues I believed I could heal. Being nieve and innocent in many areas of life I left him 3 times before he was murdered. The last 2 years I felt totally unsupported and manipulated by him. If there was one good day, I had hope but there were too many stressful moments in a day. I thought many times, how did I survive the craziness of his actions, words, and death? To be honest I knew I shouldn’t marry him but I did it anyway. My emotions became numb and I no longer trusted his words. I was never interested in taking drugs and being part of the crowd, if anything I was consistently trying to support him or his friends with no professional knowledge. The environment felt very heavy and my energy was exhausted trying to fix something I wasn’t educated in. To all the women stuck now in any toxic environment run like hell to save yourself and your children. Fear will lie to you all day long and give you excuses to stay and so will your pride. Your children will suffer and they will pay a price as a teenager or adult. Go deep inside of you as there is a strength you can tap into that’s waiting to evolve. Nothing changes until you’ve had enough. I believe it’s our responsibility to protect our children, no matter what! They all imitate our actions and our words. They see and hear everything. I beg you to move out of the lies you tell yourself. You’re too precious to ignore your power. Allow yourself to acknowledge your emotional awareness. Listen to your knowingness NOT your mind. These are some of the wisest words. We all have our beliefs. Some are wonky as hell. Categorize your thoughts and dive deep into what you believe about relation...ships, finances, your weight/health and business concerns. Be really, really honest and ask yourself, where do I need to be so right that I refuse to look at.....?Fill in the sentence and breathe. I would love to hear any mini breakthrough you discover. Remember to share your emotions around your beliefs. You are so teachable!

All of us get lost as women. We get lost in our roles. As young girls we got lost as the performer, the black sheep, the drama queen, the over/under achiever, t...he scape goat, the oldest, the youngest, the middle child. You get it! In school we take on a different role, and we do the same at work. Then we have relationships and we’re a complete different person in all the hats we wear. We get defined by who we are not. It’s so confusing. Who am I today? Am I your lover, sexual partner, breadwinner, confidant, mother or goddess. Goddess is my favourite! It’s not our inner self performing, it’s our outer self that chooses to please society, family, and ALL the systems. We are conditioned. So many people are searching for their inner selves, to claim who they really are. Most of us are hidden under layers of confusion. We create problems in all areas of our lives as we are not secure in which hat to choose. Women are expected to know what hat to choose so they can serve their partner, children, boss,etc. If you feel lost, go deep inside and ask yourself this question, who am I and who is the real me? Now take off your hat and work on yourself with love and no judgement. Now get ready to accept who you lost and embrace the REAL you. My beautiful niece Melinda, is an unstoppable woman. She faced fear in the face many times and continues to be a patient Mom. She lost her Mom to cancer over 20... years ago and made decisions she wasn’t aware of...to choose loving herself. Her values grew as I watched her determination to become unstoppable. I don’t know if she was even aware of her power back then. Her son is the most amazing 10 year old I know whose compassion for others never stops. What I love and admire the most is he is allowed to be him. He is not being molded to become who he is not. Ty is encouraged to be the best he can be with love, patience and support. I remember calculating I would be approximately 85 to 90 years old before he may marry. I so want to be there with bells and whistles. He shares love effortlessly and teaches others the same. Now he has become unstoppable! I watch people carefully. What I know for sure is our words and actions determine our future. Melinda and Ty didn’t stop there. They created a man with a big heart who loves and adores them. He’s always by their side and has high values and morals. You see her energy and Tanner’s energy molded nicely. Do you see where I am going with this? He came into their life at the perfect time. We always show people over time who we really are! Now Tanner and Melinda have a darling daughter, and Ty loves sharing his love and protecting his sister. This is a domino effect of energy. You may think what I am sharing is not real or over exaggerated. That’s ok, it doesn’t matter! There’s more. Ty’s Dad is a big part of the family and is accepted by Tanner to do the best they can together to create harmony, acceptance, and love. Now that’s an unstoppable family! Oh yes, I have to add Tanner’s parents accepts everyone with love as well! Oh, one more thing! My brother, Terry is the best grandpa ever! Yes this is true! Like energy attracts like energy. When we shift our energy to love, acceptance and compassion life becomes smooth. No matter what the circumstances are, when we forgive we must move forward to create an understanding of others, no matter what! My wish is for you is to share your love, kindness and inspiration with others. Your family is waiting for you to be their teacher. As you too can choose to be unstoppable.

Where is your level of courage? How do you even measure it? Today I am asking myself some tough questions. It takes a lot some days to impress myself. I don’t ...want to write this morning. I woke up at 5am made some coffee, opened the balcony doors and here I am desperately trying to find words of wisdom to share with you. After watching a few videos this morning from a billionaire I felt his words penetrate deep. It takes a level of courage to keep going when your business is failing, when your marriage is falling apart, and when your true friends are limited. See no one cares about your failures, but you better. The more you fail the quicker you reach success. It’s not about the money, it never is..once you have it. It’s about being driven, finding the right people to inspire you as it gets very lonely at the top. Always search for what makes your heart sing, and make sure you’re great at what you do. Maybe you don’t know this...money doesn’t make you HAPPY! This is where the trickery of the mind comes into play. Ok, you earned extra money and you’re happy but for how long? I remember when we bought our home in 1994 in Kelowna. It’s a new home only 1.5 years old and Dr. Brian asked the realtor to stop in front of the house and she made the call to view the home 15 minutes later. We had looked at many houses but nothing felt right. We had only a few hours left before we had to catch a plane back to Saskatchewan and a decision needed to be made. Are we buying this house? By 10:00pm that evening we made an offer and the concrete decision was made. Was I happy? Not really! We had 6 months to sell our home and business. But you know what we had....courage. I didn’t even know it was there or that it was so deep. Some of you may think, that’s no big deal but it was for us. It was overwhelming for me to move from Saskatchewan to B.C., sell our home, the business and leave my 18 year old son. Dr. Brian was always calm, not me. We sold the house, and our business in less than 5 months. Here’s what I forgot. Even though I had doubt I didn’t realize my level of knowingness and courage was stronger. It took me some years to acknowledge that realization. Dr. Brian supported me when I became paralyzed in fear and had no idea how to start our business from scratch. He had quiet power and I felt a total lack of control of how to start over. After many years of trial and error of what works I am still here with loads of passion. For those of you who don’t know Dr. Brian passed in April. I had to dig deep again to start over and be focused. Let’s sum this up! Here is what I know for sure. It takes many failures to acknowledge your courage, make some tough decisions, and honour your gut feeling. Keep going. Focus on the job, the business, the partner that feels right.
