Hosting live entertainment and classy cultural events downtown becomes a challenge with very limited large space rental options. PG's first craft beer festival, Kiwanis AleFest is being held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Two Rivers Gallery and will feature live local music powered by Coldsnap Music Festival, tapas food by local restaurants, an art exhibition and of course a great line-up of BC and Yukon craft breweries. Volunteer run, the event is hosted by Kiwanis Prince George as a winter social and community fundraiser. The gallery only has a capacity of 350, so what if the event became wildly successful? Where would it expand to?
