Devjeets lunch : Wild sea asparagus fried in organic olive oil over sprouted bread, with a few sprouts and some local organic tomatoes traded at the farmers market. We use all certified organic seeds to do our sprouts. Come get yourse at Trout lake market Saturday and Kits (at Nat Bayley )market on Sunday.

NETTLES NETTLES NETTLES Ive been getting orders for nettles and winter chanterelles from restaurants and stores. Among them is Greens Organic on Broadway whose commitment to local organic is unheard of, and Drive Organic on Commercial Drive with their lively organic section. If you want a small bag I suggest shopping at those location. If you want a pound ($16) you can order from me. If you want 5 pounds + Ive got them ($13/lb).... Winter chanterelles are sooooo delicious !! They grow in our forest right now !!! Dry sauted them, then add oil or butter or goat butter is even better(or ghee if you are a yo-gheek ;) and seasalt and pepper (same price as nettles).
