The Union Protein Project 02.11.2020

Important Notice! Union Protein Project Annual General Meeting Tuesday, November 17, 2020 9:30 AM via Zoom RSVP to get a Zoom link... Dear friends and supporters, The COVID-19 pandemic forced us to postpone our Annual General Meeting, which is normally held with a salmon barbeque in June. This year’s event has been rescheduled for Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 9:30am via Zoom. 2019 was a good year for UPP and we have been able to adapt to accommodate to the challenges of 2020. Thanks to all of you, we are continuing to provide food banks with protein (peanut butter and tuna). We are also reaching out to the community to build connections between unions, food banks and people who share our goal of Food Security Through Good Jobs. We continue to build partnerships and expand our efforts in Alberta. But it isn’t just our AGM that is coming up. There are also many events and holidays on the horizon and there is a way for you to spice up your meals and add flavour to the gifts you give, and support the Union Protein Project at the same time. Here's how: You can buy fair trade Kampot Pepper - the best pepper in the world - at proteinproject.ca, and UPP will receive 50% of all sales. You can share this information with your friends, family, employers and co-workers. If you haven't tried Kampot Pepper then you are in for a treat as it truly is the best pepper in the world. And every purchase of the Best Pepper Ever helps us provide much needed protein to local Food Banks. Buy some today and support the Protein Project. We can all be proud of our union owned and operated project. Please join us for this year’s AGM on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at 9:30am. RSVP to [email protected] and you will be sent a Zoom link to participate.
