Well November 7 2020 was a much better day for a wedding than last year, when 6 inches of snow blanketed the hills and wedding site. There had already been a 2 month delay of Ashley and Bruce's original wedding date, not because of Covid but because of the birth of their son. So while the wedding went ahead with a smaller guest list of just immediate family, a larger reception will follow next summer. We were prepared to move the ceremony indoors if the weather made it too uncomfortable for guests and wedding party, but Mother Nature blessed this special couple with late summer weather and plenty of sunshine. Congratulations Ashley and Bruce, what a fantastic ending to a very strange outdoor wedding season!

Yesterday was our last outdoor wedding of 2020 A very special one, and the weather celebrated too, gifting a sunny, and exceptionally warm day.

A beautiful day for a wedding from dawn to dusk. 45 guests travelled to the Kawarthas to celebrate Stacey and David's wedding. The hills were ablaze with colours, even the short shower just before the ceremony couldn't extinguish their brilliance. Nor could any of the other unexpected moments stop the celebration. Thanks Enticing Cakes Inc. , MacMillan Entertainment Group, officient Perry Grandel, and always The Ranch staff..what a great team,...but mostly thanks to Stacey and David, with their small group of family and friends for making it all happen in a year full of surprises.
