Hey folks, with the shop opening approaching at a steady pace, we've been thinking about ways to help support those that support us. We're going to designate some wall space at the new shop for local artists to not only showcase their art, but sell their work royalty free. We see a lot of foot traffic there by individuals who love art in all forms, so we think that this would be a great outlet for local artists to get their work out there for everyone to enjoy. If you, a loved one, a friend or family member are a local artist and have some work for sale, contact the shop for details. Hey there folks, just a little heads up/update on the shop situation. We have found a new spot, and we're feverishly working to get the place ready. We'll keep everyone posted on our progress and throw up a few pics when we can. Rest assured we are doing all we can right now preparing to return to work! We sincerely appreciate the enormous effort from everyone who has helped us and we look forward to seeing you all again very shortly....even if it's from 6 feet away :)

We just wanted to come on here and say thank you... for all the love and support we've been getting from the tattoo community, our friends, our clientelle our families and many others in our community. We've been completely overwhelmed with support from you all in a time where it's becoming increasingly difficult to do anything but stay home and away from other people. For this, we thank you all. We would also like to thank all the health care workers, truck drivers, grocer...y store workers, gas station attendants, cashiers and everyone else who is making our world go around right now. Without you folks, we'd be in a dire state indeed. Please keep up the stellar work you're doing, there are thousands of us that appreciate it! Bit of an update on our current situation, we are in the process of acquiring a new spot in the Sydney area, as soon as we get some confirmation, we will keep you all posted! So we lost our shop last night in a fire. No one was hurt, and everybody got out safe. It was a great shop with enough character for two, and we'll miss her greatly. We firmly believe that these things always have a silver lining, and we're all staying pretty positive about the whole thing. We will rebuild and find a new spot as soon as we're able to, but the current situation in the world is going to slow that down. However, given the unbelievable support we've gotten fro...m the community in the past, I'm sure it will be sooner than later. We are going to try to stay in the Sydney area because we love the Charlotte street vibe, so we're hoping to drop more roots there. We would like to mention and thank Michael Gerrow, and all the firefighters who worked tirelessly, to not only keep the rest of the block from burning down, but by acting proactively managed to get our stations out of the building. We are eternally grateful for your thoughtful actions, and know you have done us a tremendously unforgettable solid. We would also like to thank Brittney McMaster, Shaemus Squires, and Emily Pelley for your help. Without you guys, our kit would have probably suffered the same fate, thank you all for your help last night, you guys rock! Due to the increasing threat to the public’s health because of the spread of Covid-19, The Rising Tide will be closing to the public effective immediately until April 1st, at which point the situation will be re-evaluated. We believe being proactive is the best measure we can take to keeping our staff, families and clientele healthy and happy. We’re very fortunate to have early warning signs and the opportunity to be proactive in preventing the spread. All deposits will be honored and appointments will be rebooked at the clients earliest approved time. We’re very sorry to have to prepare for this tragic event, and we hope and pray that you and your families stay safe. Thank You all!

Hey everyone! We have decided to take a few precautions to help stop the spread of this virus over the next few weeks! All appointments booked are still good to go as of now, however if you do have an appointment booked we will NOT be allowing additional people to accompany you ( if need be we will allow one other person with you!). We already work in very close proximity with people and we have a very small waiting area as is! Also if you have traveled ( especially internationally) please contact the shop or your artist so it can be decided if your appointment should be postponed or not! If you feel sick in any way please be cautious and reschedule your appointment! All deposits will carried over to future appointments! We are very sorry for any inconvenience and thank you all in advance!
