Friday August 14 th I will be hosting a book signing in Bonavista for my book "FINDING JANE" It is largely a true story of the first Blackwood to Newfo...undland and his marriage to Jane Gosling, whom he brought to Bonavista from Barbados in 1822. To all the members of the Shore Tourism Association, I think we can certainly say that this season has been a HUGE success and it is all due to our collaborative efforts together to bring that experience to our guests. On behalf of all of us here at Ida’s Place, we wish everyone on the shore a wonderful fall and winter and look forward to working with all of you again for our 2020 tourism season. There is no I in team and we have certainly proved that this summer with our continued support of one another. It was an honour and a privilege to work with all of you and I can’t wait to see what we can do as a group next year. As our season here at Ida’s Place draws to a close this Sunday; September 29th; Des, Lacey Blackwood and myself are forever grateful for all of your support and the support from the town of Greenspond. Without all of you we would just be another pretty little yellow house at the end of the road. Thank you all!!!!!
