Deeply ingrained in our history and our communities, The Salvation Army in Newfoundland & Labrador has helped feed, clothe, shelter and empower those in need for over 130 years. Our programs and services are needed now more than ever. We’re here - and we’re committed to serving the present age. We are grateful for the large number of people who believe in our mission and support us in our endeavour to give hope and help each and every day to those who need it most. Red Shie...ld donations enable The Salvation Army to continue its vital work of making a difference for Newfoundlanders & Labradorians, across all walks of life, who turn to us in their times of need. Thank you to those who already donated to the RED SHIELD. If there are others who would like to give, we will be at the church accepting donations today 10 am - 12 noon. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD Just a friendly reminder to enter the sanctuary doors and please wear a mask
Good Morning Friends; Due to COVID-19, RED SHIELD APPEAL that was supposed to take place during the Month of May did not happen. The Salvation Army DHQ has designated this week to highlight this appeal. We will be at the church foyer today and tomorrow from 10 am - 12 noon if you would like to drop by with your donations. (Please use the sanctuary’s main doors and wearing a mask is required)... Thank you for your support
Good Day Friends, our church building is ready; the signs are up, pre registration is complete and our ushers are in place to welcome you to our first Sunday in gathering since March. Since our last information post, we have now received word that ‘our congregation can sing with masks on.’ I know that our gathering will be different than usual but we are looking forward to seeing you. ... We do ask that you would be patient as we work through this new process and our prayer is that everything will run smoothly. We would also like to highlight the ‘Red Shield Appeal’. Normally we focus on this during the month of May but because of COVID 19, that did not happen. If you would like to make a contribution to the Red Shield this is the time to do it. If you would like to come prepared tomorrow with your donation, just include it in your cartridge envelope and highlight the amount for your donation or place it in a separate envelope with your name and amount indicating ‘RED SHIELD’. Also, we will be at the church on MONDAY & TUESDAY from 10 am- 12 noon to receive your Red Shield donations. We will be in the sanctuary foyer so please enter through the main sanctuary doors. Just a friendly reminder that masks are to be worn in the building and social distancing must be maintained. If you have questions please feel free to reach out to us.
