Swift Current’s New Year’s Baby officially arrived on the first day of 2021. At 6:05 p.m. on January 1, Cruz Michael Wagner was born to Brooke and Michael Wagner at Cypress Regional Hospital, officially making him Swift Current’s first baby of 2021. Cruz weighed 8 lbs and 5 oz. The information was provided this morning by the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s Media Relation department.

It was a successful homecoming for 5 members of the Moose Jaw Warriors in a 6-0 win over the Swift Current Legionnaires on Friday. Rookie Anthony Wilson led the way with a goal and two assists. Wyatt Wilson added two assists, while Hayden Wilm also scored. Orin Olson picked up one assist, while Mckale Paul also patrolled the blueline.
