Happy Thursday! Today we have a stunning kitchen space in St.Augustine quartz supplied by Hari Stones! This kitchen has two waterfall countertops; one on the island, and the other on a counter end. The home owners turned this small space into a fully functional, beautifully welcoming kitchen. It is absolutely perfect for entertaining! We supplied the farm sink, matte black faucet, and hood fan all from Pearl Sinks! We are lucky enough to have a before photo of this space. The...y did an amazing job in this renovation! We are in love with this space & could talk about it all day, but it pretty much speaks for itself! Let us know what you think!

IT’S FRIDAY! A white quartz with veining will always be a win! It’s next to impossible to install a white marble quartz and it not look good. What a gorgeous kitchen space! Good Morning & Happy Sunday from the Swinstones crew! Today I thought we would give a little bit of a back story of how Swinstones became Swinstones. Paul & Lisa Swindells are the owners of The Swinstones Granite Shop. Paul has worked in the granite industry since 1992. He first began working the gang saws. This saw is what cuts the natural stones into slabs that we purchase to make your countertops. He worked for a couple companies running the gang saw before he went into t...he fabrication/installation part of the industry. After spending 13 years in the industry, Paul and Lisa wanted to pack up their family and move to Chilliwack where they opened The Swinstones Granite Shop in 2005! (After they decided to name the company Swinstones they realized it was very similar to Flinstones; that’s where Fred & Wilma came in) Shortly after their eldest son Dustin graduated from high school he began working there, and is now the top fabricator & head installer. About 5 years into business their daughter Samantha joined the crew in the office with Lisa! Swinstones now has a solid crew of 5 men that get the jobs done! We have Kevin on the saw, he cuts all jobs that leave the shop & he is also foreman. We have Joel, Trystan, & Matthew that are all amazing fabricators, & also install your job as well! Being a fabricator requires a skill you have to learn, and it is not an easy job. We are lucky to have the men that we do, as they make this all possible! Being a small family run business every job is important to us, and we treat them as if they were our own. We are now 15 years into this with the same compassion & love for rock that we started with. There’s a little bit of a background on this Sunday! From our family, to yours! Cheers!

We are in love with their stove, and all the fall decor. It looks so warm & welcoming! Are you ready for all things autumn?! We hope you all have a great weekend!

Here at Swinstones we have been receiving a growing concern from customers and staff members in regards to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been tough making a decision on whether to halt services for a period of time to help minimize the spread, being that we are in many different houses installing countertops every day. We are hoping to hear from you, our valued customers, past and present on if you feel this would be something we should consider.
