Polar Pledge Challenge

With the Christmas season upon us, many will be in need of support, especially with COVID affecting many jobs. The Tiny Township Lions Club recently donated $2500 (in addition to last months food drive and donation!) to the Elmvale & District Food Bank . We know this money will help many families get through the holiday season. Delta Bingo and Gaming continues to support clubs like ours even in these trying times. They are open for Taptix at the Angel Gate Bingo in Penetanguishene. Every time you visit, you support our programs. Thank you!

Earlier this month, the Tiny Township Lions club was honoured to be able to present a cheque to Community Outreach in the amount of $5000. This donation will go towards the purchase of a new van for their Transportaion Linking Communities (TLC) program. This new accessible van will be used mostly by seniors with mobility issues. We could not have made this donation without the support of Delta Bingo and Gaming in Penetanguishene. Lest we forget. Every year the Tiny Township Lions Club has supported the Penetanguishene Legion with the purchase of a wreath for Remembrance Day. This year, although we couldn't be a part of the ceremony, a wreath was placed at the cenotaph to honor those who served. We were also able to support the Elmvale Legion and the Midland Legion. Without the support of Angel Gate Bingo in Penetanguishene, we could not support our Legions on Remembrance Day. Unfortunately we aren't able to have our yearly Santa Clause Parade that our town looks forward to every year, but the Parks and Recreation Association has come... up with this instead... Get your decorations out and think of a float idea that you can "park" on your front lawn, driveway, etc. Let us know that you want to take part with a display and we will include your location on our map!
