Another post secondary announcement....:-) . Another fine, respectful young man who will do well in life. Good luck down there David!
Canadian and American colleges and universities are continuing to select the excellent baseball talent found in the Toronto Cardinal program. Congrats Thomas! If you show the same work ethic, respect for the coaches and the game to the Ryerson program you have shown me you will absolutely sail. Please click your like buttons folks :-) . This needs to get around.

This in from East York Bulldog and Toronto Cardinal John Luke Lamanna. What a tremendous tribute to the player possessing the most passion for the game that I have ever coached. Congrats John :-) . Catch you soon, After playing ball in the states, a lifetime dream of mine was always being able to play for my hometown college or university. I had the opportunity to suit up for George Brown for my last couple of years of baseball 2017-2018. I had Coaching that believed in me ...and also a best friend that always pushed me to be great Anthony Buonaiuto. It taught to bet on myself and have fun with it. I miss baseball everyday, the long bus rides with the team, traveling from state to state. Everywhere I went I never forgot where I came from because no matter what home will always be there. Thank you every coach I had that pushed me to be the best player and also person. You all help shaped me into the man I am today and for that I’m truly grateful. Thank you everyone that voted, I appreciate getting the acknowledgment. Remember always it’s not all what you do when scouts are watching, it’s what you do when nobody is watching that can get you to that next step. One love always, Happy new year. See more
I expect to be posting more of these as players narrow down and finalize their post secondary choices. As his coach, I can't say enough about Wil Nenadovic. Great ballplayer. Respectful. Fine young man who will do well in life. A true pleasure to coach. Please pass this around folks. With all that is happening around us right now we could all use news like this.

It is great to see kids in the East York/Toronto Cardinal program doing well in sports other than baseball. Click the link. East York Bulldog Jorgen Lehman and his Neil McNeil team mates finished top 5 in the recent OFSSA volleyball championships. Jorgen is third from the right in the back row. If anyone hears of more East York/Toronto Cardinal players having success in alternate sports please let me know.:-) ... https://www.beachmetro.com//neil-mcneil-senior-boys-voll/
To all East York Alumni 21 years old or older...please come out on May 23rd. Details are contained :-)
Being a part of the Cardinal program isn't always just about baseball. Liam Mendoza was a part of the Neil McNeil track team that won the TDCCAA championship a couple of weeks ago. Follow the link for details: https://www.beachmetro.com//neil-mcneil-cross-country-ru/
Thanks to his mother Donna for passing this on to me. This could not have happened to finer young man. Michael Bucci came to us in 2012 and played his midget baseball at East York. He is now an assistant coach at Muskingum University in Ohio. ... Click on the link to get his full baseball bio. It is very impressive. Congrats Michael. Best of luck down there. Catch you soon :-) https://fightingmuskies.com/sports/bsb/coaches/bucci

As I have said for years. There is essentially an infinite number of possible outcomes with every pitch thrown in a baseball game. Every pitch counts....every swing counts.
Things are quiet now as we have slipped into the off season. However, Toronto Cardinal Lem Beach went down to Genesee College just east of Buffalo on Saturday and participated in coach Skip Sherman's evaluation camp. Lem did exceptionally well both on the mound and at the plate and with certainty he will be invited back for a visit. Well done Lem and good luck the rest of the way :-)
Toronto Cardinal and East York Bulldog Jared Gonsalves is still cooking with gasoline at Humber College. https://humberhawks.ca/general/aotw/2019-20/Sept_24-30
It has been a weekend of awards for Toronto Cardinals and East York Bulldog players. Jared Gonsalves and coach Jeff Gibbs, along with their Humber College Hawks were presented with their national championship rings yesterday. The team won the championship last fall.
