This morning the afterschoolers were busy building a corral for Cocoa and Marshmallow!

We have some excited Afterschoolers here today! We've welcomed guinea pigs Cocoa and Marshmallow to our Afterschool class. Enjoying the outdoors!

Mr. Nigel aka the owner of The Tree House came today to build a picnic table with the afterschool children!

The garden is growing and is in full bloom, the children are learning outside a conventional classroom. They have been enjoying nature walks and building blocks, we encourage the children to think outside the box. A special treat we had this week was baby chicks that go 'peep' 'peep'. With lots of 'oohhs' and 'aahs' the children were amazed, thanks to Emily Bannister, we want to sing your praise!

Shout out to Keith Berry for dropping by with his #bellaliant truck to The Tree House. The children loved it!

The children are enjoying the beautiful weather these last few weeks. For parents who are interested, we do have spaces available for children in our preschool (ages 2-4) and our afterschool (ages 5-12) groups. Please message us for more information.

The children will be learning about how plants grow and how some plants can produce food they can eat!

We encourage children at the centre to learn through exploration - some of these activities in the last few weeks include learning about building structures using toothpicks and marshmallows, tye dying t-shirts, decorating Easter eggs and more! Take a look at some of their creations.
