I've been turning a few prototype beer taps for a start up micro brewery. The wood is jatoba and I loved working it. I will post some photos when the taps make it to their new home and yes, I will work for beer!

I don't get to use this lovely block plane nearly enough but when I do it is such a pleasure! The plane was a gift when I left Walder & McSweeney Contracting fifteen years ago

Got these 16 column bases out the shop door yesterday. They were 20" in diameter and absolutely maxed out the capacity of my lathe. Shopping now for an even bigger and more bad ass lathe!
