TALES CALGARY STORY CAFE On the Road: Mishaps, Misadventures, Misdemeanours 7 -- 9 pm April 24, 2019 at Shelf Life Books 1302 4 St SW, Come and hear first person stories of Alberta adventure and misadventure with tellers Doreen Vanderstoop, Anne Cowling, Jim Martin and Mary Hays. Music by family band, "Spoutbec". Refreshments.... Stories include; " Mary Schafer Mountain Woman", "Four Angels", "Rocky Road to Retirement" and "Truckdrivers Wisdom". Hit the road, and join us for a delightful fun-filled evening. As Albertans, we know and love the mountains, the highways and biways that connect vast farmlands to bustling cities... the idea for this concert came after the host, Mindy Woolcott, sang 'road songs' with Vocal Latitudes, a local world choir.
