Shining some light on a bit of what we talked about at last nights A.R.T meeting

Hi! I’m Lexi I realized I haven’t introduced myself on here yet and I have some new followers so I just wanted to say hello! I have been an artist since I could hold a pencil. I started with portraits and still life sketches, mainly of my pets and florals or realism from photos I was fresh 18 in 2009 and landed an apprenticeship at a tattoo shop in Calgary and have continued to focus on tattooing while cultivating my own style. Illustrative but realistic on the softer ...side, in turn growing in the direction of restorative tattooing, implementing everything I have learned about tattooing into helping Breast Cancer and trauma survivors. I think the experience in tattooing is important prior to doing this type of work because there are so many variables when it comes to working with damaged tissue and it’s so important that the tattoo heals well. Nipples are like the cherry on top after reconstruction, the surgeons do such a great job and survivors deserve great nipples at the end of their journey.
