Trying to enjoy every ounce of the fiery skies and beautiful flowers this last week before I head back to school My last day will be Sunday so if you haven’t stopped by this summer, I’ll have bouquets out everyday this week so bows your chance!!!

h e l l o e v e r y o n e ! ! ! I thought it was about time that I introduce myself as well as give a bit of an update. My name is Emma and I am an aspiring florist I love flowers and have dreamed of opening a flower stand since I was in high school. I want to pursue this area more and maybe go to school for it in the future but currently I am going into my 3rd year at Millar College of the Bible and it has been such an amazing experience The past 5 summers I have bee...n working at Sunnybrae Bible Camp on the junior staff or as a cabin leader. Apparently I couldn’t get enough because I just kept on going back for more. I was supposed to be there this summer as well, but in a different role as the junior staff girls coordinator but because of everything, Sunnybrae was not able to run this summer which led me to being at home for longer than two weeks at one time for the first time in two years! So, naturally I decided I wanted to run a flower stand this summer This summer has been amazing with just learning more about flowers and how to care for them and being able to make new arrangements everyday for so many people. I have really enjoyed it and my love for flowers and for making bouquets has grown. But sadly, the Flowerpot is going to come to a close in a few weeks. I will be going back to school on August 30th and that is the day that the Flowerpot will close. I hope I can open the stand again in the future but I do not know when that might be. I have no idea what next summer may hold but let’s hope it includes flowers Anyways, all of that means that there are only 3 weeks left for you guys to come and get bouquets this season!! I hope you all can come and get a bouquet before I close!! Thank you guys for all of your support and encouragement. These baby Zinnias were a happy little accident we apparently did not read the label well enough when we bought the packets but they turned out to be a pleasant surprise. These cuties are called Bachelor Button’s and I had no idea they existed until we had planted them this year but I’m now very fond of them and they have become a staple of my bouquets.

Made these sweet bouquets for my mom to give to her friends. I have learned that I prefer wrapping bouquets for orders over wrapping them for the stand oh well.

First of all, I love this new water jug that I found the other day!! Secondly, these flowers make my heart flutter!! Falling in love with these pale pink Astilbes, peachy Roses, rusty pink Zinnias, and white Anemones

Did my first order yesterday!! Just five simple bouquets but they turned out super cute!! I’m loving the annual Baby’s Breath. It just makes the bouquets so sweet!!

We have our first Lily blooming!!! I love how this bouquet turned out with its dramatic pink Lily, these tiny white Roses, white Daisies, Lily of the Valley, and Snap Pea flowers!! Definitely the feature bouquet of today’s assortment!!! There’s four bouquets out this morning so when you’re on your Sunday drive, stop by and pick a bouquet up before they disappear!!

The yellow bouquet yesterday seemed to bring sun eventually so I think I’ll keep that colour around for a while

Bouquets are out today!! We are officially going to be open everyday except for Saturday’s starting today!!! Today’s feature flower is Lavatera (if anyone knows it’s common name, let me know). It was found in the bushes, growing in the wild but it’s tall stalks of light pink flowers were too pretty not to take!!! It looks so good in bouquets Today’s bouquets consisted of light pink Lavatera Blue/purple + light pink/purple Delphiniums white + pink Peonies burgundy + white Anemones white Fox Gloves white, pink + red Roses white Hosta flowers Lily of the Valley

This beauty was the last bouquet left today. It'll be out tomorrow morning but other than that, we will be closed for the weekend But starting Monday we will be putting bouquets out everyday excluding Saturdays!! Yay!

There are 6 arrangements filled with white + pink Peonies, some white, red, pink, + purple Roses, and a couple of purple Bell flowers, finished with some of my favorite pieces of greenery like Lily of the Valley, Fern stems, and Smoke Bush branches with some Coralbell dispersed among the bouquets. @ Armstrong, British Columbia
