For those of you that don’t know me yet, I’m Lindsay Mae and I’m The Reiki Witch. I’m a 33 year-old retired Social Worker who recently married the best woman in the world. I consider myself a Spiritual Development Mentor, a Teacher and a serious Work in Progress. Last year I took the leap, quit my job and started my journey as an entrepreneur. My business name has changed a few times since then, but the authenticity and purpose has remained the same.... My calling is to help support womxn in their awakening. I released my permanent salary with benefits, and with that let go of the weight of burnout and fear that was attached. I created space and capacity and now I have relationships in my life that help me heal + expand. I have a relationship with myself that is compassionate, forgiving and strong. And I have an unwavering faith in the Universe! I leap when I am guided to, impulsively and unapologetically and I dig in when I’m asked to witness my shadows. I am messy and vulnerable. Sometimes I’m hangry, scared, stressed and frustrated too! FACTS! I will share every ounce of discomfort I experience with you on this journey. The Universe does not ask me to be all Love and Light every moment of every day. The Universe asks me to be REAL, AUTHENTIC and HUMBLE in my calling to lead + awaken. So if you’re in search of that perfect mentor that claims expertise and will tell you what to do, that’s not me. I'm a mentor that needs a mentor. I'm a healer that needs a healer. I'm a teacher that needs a teacher. The only authority I have is over me. I’m no expert, but I am a REALLY good space holder. And I do my best work with you, when I am working hard on myself. I am well aware that this name change may not sit well with certain people. Perhaps some of them will be inspired to be discerning and do some research. Perhaps others will run in fear, unwilling to see that colonialism dipped it’s toe in yet another attack on a vulnerable population. And perhaps there will be others that get GOOSEBUMPS and tears in their eyes because their soul has been craving that feeling of being able to claim the word Witch! I'm leveling up again!! Tomorrow I am off on a new adventure! I have signed up to take another Holy Fire III Reiki Master Class in what is called Usui/Holy Fire III Karuna Reiki. I am incredibly intrigued by this lineage because it focuses on deeeeep cellular healing, specifically on past lives, physical and sexual abuse, childhood trauma, emotional attachment, addiction, shadow selves and soooo much more.... As a Reiki Master Teacher and Spiritual Development Mentor I am always looking to refine my skills, build on my knowledge and develop my own intuition and healing practices. I have never received a Karuna Reiki session but something about it calls to my soul and I do my best to never ignore these nudges. I am starting a full three day training tomorrow with William Lee Rand, the founder of Usui/Holy Fire III Reiki. The training will last from 11am to 9:30pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It is an online training, which also means that once I am certified, I will be able to offer online classes as well (as long as I feel that my students would receive the BEST training in this way). I will be off the clock for the next three days, as well as Monday (and maybe even Tuesday ) so that I can integrate the energy, teachings and experience from the weekend. I am incredibly excited!!!! Can't wait to tell you all about it! Wish me luck!!!

Let’s talk Ego This is the #1 theme of my conversations with reiki students, mentorship clients, Lightworkers students and members so I’ve decided to put together three steps to heal your ego. Most of my clients come in with this resentful attitude toward their ego. They come in with the intention to be rid of it somehow. I was the same. Whatever this evil little bug was that lived inside of me, I wanted it gone.... It caused confusion, resentment and fear. It made me feel lesser than. It kept me stuck and feeling unsafe and three thousand miles away from my dreams. BUT (and this is a big but!!) Ego keeps me human. It makes up all of the fun and exciting and sometimes annoying aspects of my personality. It allows me to live out my purpose in this physical world. Ego is only hurtful, mean, critical and victimized when it is unhealed. And ANYTHING that is unhealed can be healed

Reminder: A fresh start is coming soon Today is our Last Quarter Moon It is our halfway point between our Full Moon and our New Moon.It’s when things start to feel a little awkward, and sometimes we just need to be reminded that a fresh start is coming.... You may feel stuck. You may feel tired. You may feel stagnant. You may want to give up all together. And that’s okay. All you need to do right now is TRUST Trust that even though this may be a time of discomfort, that the sun will rise again tomorrow. That a new day will come. That a fresh start is on the horizon. Everything that you are being shown right now is happening for a purpose. Become a mindful observer in your life and just witness everything. Just see it. You are exactly where you need to be
