Isolating has allowed for a good start on spring...

Peppers, Elderberry, Rosemary, Onions....things are popping

Making biochar with a stainless chafing dish ...filled with planer shavings, screw cover shut, than cook in the wood stove. You get the heat from the gases burning with about half the carbon retained. The char is then mixed with compost creating an amendment for soil which sequesters carbon.
