Polyvalente Deux-Montagnes, in Commission scolaire de la Seigneurie-des-Mille-Îles (CSSMI), received their #AED training equipment thanks to Fonds Julie Thorn and the ACT Foundation. Following Julie Thorn’s passing, former student at Polyvalente Deux-Montagnes, her sister Marie-Hélène Thorn and her friend Marie-Hélène Proulx fundraised to help donate defibrillators in high schools in the event of a cardiac arrest. This time, the funds were used to donate mannequins and #AE...D training units to empower all students to save lives with #CPR and #AED lifesaving skills.
